GOTHIC BAY-WINDOWThe bay-window of the castle of Siklós was made in the second half of the 15th century, for one of the members of the Gara family. The outline of it was seen during the renovation of the castle, including the pieces of the outside stones in the wall. Other stone pieces were found by the aimed excavation in the moat, under the bay-window. It was made in that period of the late Gothic when stone-cutter masters used the way of the construction-planning, as a professional virtuosity. |

DUNGEONSBy an order, written in the 18th century, it was required to create prisons and dungeons. Those dungeons which can be seen in the castle of Siklos, were probably used to be an accommodation for soldiers. These little cells miss every comfort. By the exhibition at the cellar place, visitors can try a few tools out which were used for keeping the prisoners. |

|
TORTURE CHAMBER AND PRISON FOR NOBLESThe 'torture chamber' which was one of the first exhibitions in 1956, was originally a forge. Due to its atmosphere, it is a perfect place for visitors to get information of the most popular methods of torture and execution in Middle Ages and in early modern age. These cells, next to the so-called torture chamber, were more comfortable than the dungeon cells because nobles had priviliges in prison, as well. Privileges provided them bigger comfort, bigger windows, fresh air (as these cells aren’t under the yard level), beds and heating by an iron stove. |

WINE MUSEUM AND WINE SHOP'Life is too short to drink bad wine!' In the wine museum of the castle of Siklos visitors get information of the tools of viniculture, wine-growing and the work of coopers. In the wine shop our sommelier helps to choose from more than 20 wine-makers' products of the Villány Wine Region and gives information of the wine culture. |

DOROTTYA KANIZSAI'S PRAYER NICHE |
In 2010 a niche was found in the southern wall of the chapel that served as her spot for prayer. Paintings with figures found in it showed the scenes of ’Rosarium’, a prayer for Virgin Mary. This kind of prayer niche is rarely found in Europe and is the only one in Hungary. It is the only physical memory of her in the castle of Siklós. In Latin, 'rosarium' means rose garden, as well. Maybe this refers to Dorottya Kanizsai’s rose garden.
